1. Begin by placing all of the ingredients, apart from the salt and pepper, into a saucepan.

2. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the celeriac is soft.

3. Allow to cool slightly, then transfer to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

5. Serve and enjoy!
