Dale Farm’s Ice Cream Van Tour Brings Sweet Delights to NI Schools

28th June 2024

Summer’s here, and what better way to celebrate than with a visit from the coolest crew in town? Dale Farm’s ice cream van hit the road to spread joy and delicious treats across Northern Ireland. With our mission to #ShareGoodness, we hosted an exciting competition where three lucky schools won a visit from our beloved ice cream van. Finaghy Primary, Loughview Integrated Primary, and St Joseph’s Primary were the lucky winners, and we couldn’t wait to see the smiles on the faces of pupils, teachers, friends, and parents!

Finaghy Primary School

Our first stop took us to Finaghy Primary School, where 385 enthusiastic pupils awaited our arrival. The kids lined up eagerly, and our cool crew started serving up their favourite Dale Farm ice lollies.

The teachers joined in the fun, reminiscing about their own childhood memories with Dale Farm Cool Crew. It was heartwarming to see the entire school community come together for a moment of pure joy. The laughter and giggles echoed through the playground, making it a day to remember for everyone at Finaghy Primary.

Loughview Integrated Primary & Nursery School

Next, we rolled up to Loughview Integrated Primary & Nursery School, home to 468 pupils. The excitement was just as high, with children eagerly awaiting their turn to pick their favourite Dale Farm flavour. Our cool crew was on hand to serve classics like the Joker, Pear Picking Porky and Polly Pineapple!

St Joseph’s Primary School

Our final stop brought us to St Joseph’s Primary School in Crossgar, with 123 pupils excitedly awaiting their turn. Despite being the smallest of our winning schools, the energy was immense. The pupils at St Joseph’s were thrilled to see the Dale Farm ice cream van, and their enthusiasm was contagious.

As the children enjoyed their ice lollies, we chatted with some of Northern Ireland’s best young jokers. Their quick wit and hilarious jokes added an extra layer of fun to the day. The parents and teachers joined in, creating a delightful atmosphere of laughter!
